Understanding Our Bodies:
Conscious Movement

Taliya is a personal trainer and bodywork specialist. The aim of her work is to give a greater sense of freedom through control over oneself and over reactions to stimuli. Conscious movement, conscious touch, choice in how we interact with any given issue.

Every breath is a choice: the difference between a yawn and a shallow chest inhale is choice. Every step we take is a choice: are we falling into step or choosing where to place our foot; one likely has you with hips/knees/ankles turned in, the latter likely has you with feet/knees/hips slightly turned out. Choose to fall, choose to step or to kick or to sit without using your hands.

We train. We do not ‘workout’. Every movement should be better than the last, cleaner than the last, more fluid than the last. We train to understand the how, the why. We train to choose what we do if we do. We make movement possible, enjoyable. We earn a thicc << with two C s >> sense to our muscles, a sense of being more OF ourselves, more IN our selves.

We are able to make the space between our middle toe and our ring toe be conscious. We are able to sense the back of our necks, the crook of our elbow. We choose to pay attention. We choose to choose.

Remote Bodywork | $100 / hour

*drive time in excess of 15 minutes will be charged $80 / hour

*available for couples / parties / events / group sessions

Each session is 60 minutes minimum and may be lengthened by 15 minute increments.
